Route & Stops
The Montevideo tourist bus goes past the most beautiful spots in the capital of Uruguay. It has the following different routes:
- Central route: it passes by the Mercado del Puerto, Plaza Independencia Square, Intendancy of Montevideo, the National Library, Montevideo Farmer's Market, Legislative Palace, Prado, Shopping Tres Cruces, Estadio Centenario and Parque Rodó. You can see all the stops here.
- Coastal and Shopping route: this route has stops at Parque Rodó, Rambla Armenia, and continues along Rambla O'Higgins and Malvín Beach. It also goes to Hotel Carrasco and shopping areas such as Montevideo Shopping Centre and Punta Carretas Shopping Centre. You can see all the stops here.
Onboard the bus, you'll also have an audio guide in English and other languages.
How It Works
Your ticket for the Montevideo bus tour allows you to hop on and off as many times as you want at any of the stops for 24 hours.
Operating Times
The timetable of the Montevideo tourist bus operates from 9 am - 7 pm. Please be aware that these times are flexible and may be subject to changes.
Children Under 5
Children under the age of 5 years old can access the bus service for free but must always be accompanied by an adult and they must sit on someone's lap.
