At the indicated time, head to the Tres Cruces bus terminal in Montevideo. From this station in Montevideo, you'll travel by bus to Colonia del Sacramento. So take a seat, relax, and enjoy the ride!
Following our 2.5-hour journey, we'll arrive at the port of Colonia. Upon arrival at the port, the staff of the Buquebus staff will accompany you to the dock from where the ferry to Buenos Aires departs.
Set sail for an hour on the Río de la Plata to the dock at Puerto Madero, located to the east of the Argentine capital. Once you disembark, enjoy the city's tourist bus at your leisure. Below, you can consult a map with the route and stops of the Buenos Aires tourist bus.
The bus, which includes an audio guide, passes through emblematic places of the capital of Argentina like the Colón Theatre, the Bombonera stadium, the 9 de Julio Avenue and the Congress Square. You can get on and off as many times as you like at any of the stops.

In the afternoon, be sure to head back to the Puerto Madero dock, to catch the Buquebus ferry to Colonia del Sacramento. At the port of this Uruguayan city, the bus will be waiting to take you back to the Tres Cruces terminal in Montevideo, where this 16.5-hour excursion will come to an end.
